Get Ready for the 2008 Baseball Season |

Pilney Little League’s 2008 baseball season will soon begin. The baseball diamonds at Lafreniere Park have been rebuilt. The fields now contain irrigation, a layer of topsoil over a thick layer of sand, sodding, and infield soil. These improvements make the diamonds at Lafreniere some of the best public playing fields in Jefferson Parish. We hope to see you back in 2008. STILL ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS! Please call the league office at 457-0080 to arrange delivery of your registration form and payment. Pilney will be hosting a baseball clinic April 6 (2 - 5 pm). The clinic is open to all Pilney registered players with a league age of 7 and older. League age is defined as the child's age on April 30th. We will be accepting registrations during the clinic for those that wish to attend but haven't yet had the opportunity to register. Player evaluations are required for all players of league age 7 and older. Evaluations are designed to ensure a balance of talent on the teams, not to eliminate players or build stacked teams. Every registered child will play equally. Evaluations will be held at the clinic on April 6 and any future clinics for any children not yet evaluated. Registrations will be accepted during evaluations as well. |

Pilney Little League is chartered by Little League Baseball International, and is located in Jefferson Parish Louisiana and features Tee-ball, Minor, Major, Junior, Senior and Big leagues. |
